Ocean WP blog page, menu covering category toggles

Help!
I have set my posts page to a page I don’t display on the website, because I can’t work out how to create space between the menu and the blog post page.
My blog page, when I have it assigned as the post page, has the categories toggles covered by the menu almost entirely except for one toggle. I basically need to be able to insert padding between the menu and the page but i can’t customise that page beyond the limited options available in the customiser for customising the page. When the page is not assigned as the posts page, it looks fine. Here’s the page in question which doesn’t have the toggles covered by the menu: https://theresumewriters.com.au/advice/
The hot minute i assign that as the posts page in the Reading settings, the space between the menu and the page disappears. It’s so frustrating and really screwing with my breadcrumbs.
In a nut shell, I have a customised post page i have created and am using an Elementor template to display posts which is not assigned as the post page to get around the problem.
Anyone had a similar issue?

Hi there,
The OceanWP theme you are using on your site is a 3rd party theme created by an outside company to “work with WordPress” but because we ourselves did not create the theme, we are not familiar with how it is set up.
With this in mind, you may wish to reach out to OceanWP support to see if they can assist. They may not have set up their theme to use the “posts page” setting (not all themes do) so in this case creating a manual blog page template is a good solution. It may in fact be what the folks at OceanWP suggest you do, as the theme may not use the built in WordPress setting.
Hope this helps!
