oconeeriver.gystc.org
-
I inherited the website oconeeriver.gystc.org from my predecessor Jeremy Peacock back in 2018, and I changed the password to access this site. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the new password, but I do know the old password was [redacted by staff]. Is there anyway I could gain access to the oconeeriver.gystc.org site?
I had set up my own site oconeerivergystc.wordpress.com to experiment and get familiar with WordPress without messing up the live site. Which is why I am reaching out through this account.
In addition, the oconeeriver.gystc.org site gets a ‘410 gone’ error when visited. Any ideas why that is occurring?
Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Will,
Don’t ever share your password with anyone. I have removed it from the post but you should change your password ASAP.
I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you gain access to oconeeriver.gystc.org as that site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
