odd author byline used when auto-shared

  i set my blog to auto-share posts when published. it works fine, except for the author byline on the facebook share, which displays as, “by day by day.”

  that name is the former name of a WP.com blog that i have already deleted. very odd. i’d like for my user name to be presented—it is chosen in the settings for the post.

  any ideas?

  Could you try resetting the author name by reconnecting your Google+ account?
