ODF (.odp) files
-
I’d like to see ODT (.odp) files available to upload to WordPress.com. By now this file type is not accepted. I think that .odp files must be accepted as .odt and .ogg files are.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have MS Office, you can make slide shows to upload “at home”.
If you don’t have MS Office, you must make slide shows online, in slide show servers available for WordPress.com, in order to upload them.
Seems it’s for business. -
Have you read the support documentation entry for accepted file types? This is part of that entry:
Documents
.pdf (Portable Document Format; Adobe Acrobat)
.doc, .docx (Microsoft Word Document)
.ppt, .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation)
.odt (OpenDocument Text Document) . …

I have read it, it’s the first I have done.
But my “idea” isn’t about .odt files (text document), I wrote about “presentations” or “slide shows”, that in Open Office are .odp files.
The support document says that <blokcquote>.ppt, .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation) </blokcquote> documents are accepted, but there is nothing about .odp.
Thanks for you reply, anyhow, timethief. -

Okay now I understand. It’s Staff that make decisions about which formats to include or exclude and you are posting this because you want them to expand and include odp files (slide shows/presentations) – got it.
