# of posts in the homepage

  How can I limit the number of posts presented in the front page of the blog? If I could show just the posts from last month, even that could have been good enough for my needs. Thanks!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There are three alternatives.

  (1) You can reduce the number on the front page this way:
  > Settings > Writing
  Blog pages show at most __ posts
  change the number </m>
  Click “Save Changes”

  (2) You can choose to split the content in the posts using “the more tag” and only display an excerpt of posts on the front page.http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  (3) You can do both (1) and (2).
