Official Buttons for Sharing not connecting to FB

  I changed my Sharing Settings to show the Official Buttons format and now I am seeing the counts being updated; however, it no longer prompts me to enter into FB to share the content. Why did this happen?

  Additional details…I went back in to test this again and this time the FB icon showed (instead of a checkmark in a grayed out box last time). I was able to click on the FB icon and the window popped up for me to log in; however, when I check FB, there is no post regarding what I just did. This only started happening when I switched to using “official buttons” versus icons only on the Sharing buttons.

  Once I make the connection through the Publicize option, will all of this show up? It showed up on FB before when I was using the icons only share buttons.

  Also, regarding my comment above…I am assuming the FB icon gets grayed out once you like it, so that you don’t repeat this. Is this the case?
