Offline Blog Editor

  IMHO, WordPress should come out with its own offline blog editor. I bet it could be a great addition and tool for all of us. I know there are many others out there, but I thought it might be good for wordpress to have one of its own? :) Just an opinion.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is plenty of software which can be used for offline blog editing such as Windows Live Writer and w.bloggar. Visit http://en.support.wordpress.com/apps/ for a greater selection of applications for different devices including desktop.

  Its convenient to be able to write with or without Internet access. and be able to save post to a hard drive in a simple matter,
  Many of these off line editors have few tag that are different then Wps online editor.
  Windows live writer works very well but the 2011 version has system requirements that already surpass most older Pcs.

  If ever Wp ever came out with desktop editor the features I’d like to are:

  –light weight
  -the exact same features and compatibility of the on line editor.
  – one button save.

  – extra features ideas may be: font- size or font -family buttons, insert Table button, , CSS editing and/or preview. (as long as the editor were still light weight)

  thats my input.
