When registering in Word, I input:

USERNAME: ditgestravel
PASSWORD: ######Error message: Word cannot register your account.

Adding the ‘s’ made no difference.
Thanks for the link. I didn’t find an answer tho.
The error is a Microsoft Word error. It says “Word cannot register your account”
Any hints on why Word won’t register? My Word is my own copy; not pirated. Maybe I haven’t registered my Word software? I’ll try that.

I add www in front of the url like this:
BLOG POST URL: https://www.ditgestravelblog.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php
plus login & password, of course, and got the error:Word cannot register the account. The provider where you are trying to publish is unavailable. Contact your provider for assistance.
Anyone?

UPDATE – I’M UP AND RUNNING!
However, I couldn’t get Word 2010 to connect to WordPress.
I enabled Windows Live Writer and used the same URL: https://ditgestravelblog/wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php
Windows Live Writer connected, I created a post, published it as a draft with no problems. Yaaa!
