Offline Comment Editor?

  I know there are a plethora of offline blog editors out there that work with both blog posts and pages, but I haven’t found any that allow you to download or post comments from the external application. Does anyone know if such a program exists? Comments are a critical part of my blog and I feel cheated when I can’t browse them or add them offline; it almost makes using the external application useless.

  When wordpress 2.7 is released there will be a option to
  reply to comments by email I do believe that is the only
  option you’ll find for wordpress.com.
