offline editor & pages
-
I hope it’s okay to start a new thread here with regards to offline editors. I have explored Blogdesk and it looks quite easy. Yippee!! However, it seems that it only works with posts, not pages.
Can anyone tell me if any of the other offline editors out there will work for pages?
Thanks again.

I have no idea if this could work, but perhaps one can add the blog pages one by one as if they were new blog urls? And then publish to that page url where you want the post to appear? But note: is is just a wild idea. I haven’t tested it…

The beta version of Ecto 3 does pages as well as posts, but I don’t know about any of the others.

Where do Ecto have that feature? What do you do to use that function? Or the path is secret thesacredpath? :-D)))

As I say, it’s in the Ecto 3 beta version. To retrieve your pages off of your blog, you go to the weblog menu and select “retrieve pages.” They will appear mixed in with your posts, but in bold text.

butindaro or anyone else……..
Scribefire seems to be working just fine for me now. However, if i am offline where it is? Are my pages/posts being saved to my hard drive somewhere? Where?
Does anyone else have experience with this blog editor?
Blog Desk is great but won’t handle pages.
Thanks again……………….. -
If you are offline, you can’t read/edit posts/pages. Offline you can save your work as notes, then when you are online, you publish.
