OId links if I change domain name

    I’m currently using the free domain name but I was thinking of purchasing my own domain name (minus the ‘.wordpress.com’). However, I have been posting on twitter/fb etc. I was wondering if there’s any possibility of these old links directing to the same posts if I change my domain name? Still trying to get my blog some traction so I don’t want to risk losing it by having people click on my old link and being directed to nowhere…

    Hi there,

    When you register a custom domain your .wordpress.com gets hidden and all traffic is redirected to the new domain. All this is done automatically and you don’t need to set up anything.
