OK, how do I….?

I’m still fairly new to blogging, and I’ve asked questions like this before. I have 8 posts, and I started blogging toward the end of this past summer. My blog has had 0 views for the past several weeks. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not doing something? What could I do better?

Yes, you are doing something wrong. For one thing, you need to link your username to your blog following the instructions in the sticky thread at the top of the forum called 8 Things To Know Before Posting. And you need to blog more. It’s October. 8 posts since Summer is nothing. If you want more readers, you must blog three or more times a week.
Also do a search of the forum for “hits” and “readers” and related terms. There are over a thousand tips here on increasing readership.

Advertise your blog. Comment on other peoples blog, not blatantly advertising, but telling them you like their content. Probably better on smaller blogs though. Twitter and facebook, put it in your sig on forums that you go on (minus this one)
Just get your blog out there really.
I started off getting 0 posts, but then I put it in my sig on a forum, I started posting on here with the blog attached to my userrname (so when they click my username it takes them to my blog) I comment on other peoples blogs, and I follow many people on twitter with similar interests. (If you find one or two, who are similar to you that opens up a doorway to all their followers, and followees who are similar)
