ok to repost older posts?

I have a few posts from a while back before I started adding key words? Is it okay to repost something?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Maybe some clarification would be helpful. Are you asking if there is a policy against reposting? Are you asking if SEO will suffer for reposting?

From the policies and terms of service I see no reason not to repost. You can read those documents here http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/policies-safety/ and here http://en.wordpress.com/tos/.
From an SEO standpoint, you don’t really need to repost since they are already on your site. Adding keywords to your content is a great idea and If you want them to appear at the top again, reposting will take care of that. I would recommend spreading them out rather than reposting all at once.

People have different reasons for reposting content; sometimes it makes sense, and there are creative ways to do it to attract new readers, resurface popular and timely material, and revisit work that means something to you.

Another option would be not to repost, but instead to update the post and change the publication date so it moves to the top of you home page.
Then you might add a paragraph at the beginning that says, “I posted this a couple of years ago, but it’s still relevant, so . . .” or whatever works for you. Then you can add whatever keywords and accomplish your goals without having duplicate content.

It is not necessary to say that you published it before. On your stats page you can get a list of all your posts ordered chronologically. There you’ll see lots of posts that have had very few visits. Choose one you like, change its publication date, maybe improve its title and re-publish it.
There are very few people who read so carefully that after a year or two they can spot something they have read before, though the pictures might look like déjà-vu ….

Correction:

It is not chronologically, but by number of hits. That’s what you need to look up.
The list can be accessed from your stats page where it says “other posts”. Click there and you’ll get stats for “all time”. Lots of old posts that had only 1 or 2 visits! -

The problem with sticky posts is that they show their old date. A visitor might think the blog has been left unattended for a long time. That is always a little sad to see. But it is very nice if the writer explains that she is ill, as you did the other day, very bravely.

Don’t change the date. Use the sticky Post – add a new lead sentence if you want on why this is a “classic” – also use the More Tag aggressively so visitors see only a short excerpt with new content below it.
Changing dates & 404 errors kill the old link – as @TT points out irritates search engines and more importantly any visitor with the old link now gets dumped on a search page and has to look for the Post they want to read
