Old account from 2011 that I no longer have access to and wanting it removed or
-
As it says in the title; I can across an old WordPress account that I had created in 2011.
I no longer have access to the email it would have used, and I want the account either removed or private as it has photos of me on there when I was in highschool which I do not want public for security and safety reasons.
I can’t find a way to contact anyone in regards to this -
Hi there,
If you don’t have access to the email associated with that account, in order to regain access to it, we’ll need one of the following things:
* A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
* The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us.
For more information please read our Account Recovery guide:

Hi
As I stated I no longer have access to the email so I do not have access to the activation link that I would have recieved 11 years ago.And at the time I was 16, so I would not have had any transaction IDs as I would not have had any upgrades.

Hi there,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
However, if there’s personal information on your blog, the account recovery team may be able to assist you in setting it to private, so that search engines and users can’t access it and your blog will be hidden from public view.
Please reach out to them at
passwordhelp@wordpress.comexplaining this situation, and they’ll let you know if there are options to privatize the site. Thanks!
