old account posts

I used to use this account for blogging and it looks like my posts are gone after not logging in for a few years. Is there a way to get these posts back? What happened to them?
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

It appears that way, but this account was already connected to a previous account that I used ever since 2011 ish era. I was required to change my password upon login today, and wordpress still remembered my old high school email address that was connected to this account. I guess it decided it just needed to re create my account from scratch fror some reason.
wordpress used to be a free service and I guess it just isn’t anymore, and my previous blog stuff got taken down. I probably had like at least like 40 posts that I wish I could get back from high school that I don’t have access to upon logging in here.
I understand you wordpress users probably have no Idea what is going on but really the only option I was given in my account settings was to post of the wordpress forum apparently. I just figured if i could get help from an admin maybe they could find some history of my old posts unless they were just totally deleted. If there is a more direct way to contact a wordpress admin that would be great, but otherwise I guess my stuff is just deleted. I swear it was only a couple years ago I checked this page and my posts were still up, i don’t know at what point this stuff changed.

If the site was a free one created here on WordPress.com and you never deleted it then it will still exist. If the site was created at some other host then it will have been deleted long ago. What is/was the full URL of that old site?
