old and new favicon icon appearing on the blog

  i had recently changed my blog’s favicon icon (before 2, 3 days) but whenever i visit my blog it shows the old one, in dashboard browsing it shows the new one.

  i had try clearing all the cookies, cache and also tried seeing them using four different browsers but the result is same.

  even in the admin bar the old icon is shown (i.e is of green color) when browsing the blog without https://

  but in general options of admin it shows the new updated icon know as blavatar.
  Can any one help me

  Blavatars (favicons) do not immediately update. It takes time for them to appear after we change them. I see a bright pink background and a blue upside down V shaped symbol in it. Is that the new one or not?

  Some browsers also used to be famous for not updating the favicons – so bad that some forums cautioned about some browsers taking several days to update – even when forced.
