Old and New Twitter widget

  The old Twitter widget says it is going away soon. I’ve tried the new Twitter Timeline widget but it is way too intrusive. It shows avatars, includes images, and generally crowds my blog. My Twitter feed is public, and I don’t understand why and when the old Twitter widget must go.

  Can you please:
  a) Keep the old Twitter widget, or
  b) Change the new twitter widget so that it looks *exactly* like the old one?

  Hi there – Support for the Twitter Widget was discontinued by Twitter. You can customize the appearance of the new one, however (thought it’s not possible to remove the avatars:

  You might try reducing the width and height values to see if that helps.
