Old and unused names

  Hi Sirs,

  There is a policy to make free the names that is not being used by someone? I mean: I noted that there are several names that are not being updated for a long time, such as “minicz” (since 2007), “brmedia”(since 2006, and NO POSTS) and “Omnimedia” (since 2009).

  My question is about these names being reserved but not used by people, and other people trying to get them.

  My second question is: I own “minicz.net” domain, and would like to use it for my blog. I’m trying to make the NS of my provider to direct to any folder in WordPress, but not working yet. If I host my name directly with you, will I be able to use it to point to any blog I want?

  WordPress will not delete unused blogs to free them up. That is their policy at this time.

  The also do not recycle blog names/URLs that have been deleted and the reasons for that are explained here.
