I have an old blog that I can not access the dashboard to make changes. Has WordPress changed in the last 4 years?

This account is only 6 days old so it cannot be connected to a 4 year old site. What is the URL of your site on the wordpress.com platform?

It was started years ago and updated events on it last in 2015/16?

Now I can’t find any way to log in and had to apply recently because WordPress said my name or access PW didn’t exist, and as a non techie practitioner, I’m wondering if I am asking in the right channel of information.

Any suggestions?

If you believe that you still have access to the e-mail on file, I would suggest filling out the password reset tool and check all the e-mails that you own to see which e-mail the password recovery e-mail ends up:

Be sure to check your spam folder, and let me know if you have any trouble regaining access to your account.

Hi Darnell,

Thanks for the suggestion. I reset my PW and did get onto the WordPress site however, when I searched for Charles Kise up on top nothing came up, so there was nowhere to get onto my dashboard.

@ckise88, it’s because you’re logged into a different account. You can’t edit it while logged in as “ckise88” any more than any other random person should be able to edit it.

Can you log out, then log in again as charleskise, the username you see here?
