old blog from backup?

  I have a 6 or 7 year old blog from wordpress, which I then had upgraded to a domain. I had stopped posting to it about 4 years ago and let the domain expire. I have the backed up files from that blog and would like to resurrect the blog or import the posts and images.

  Is there a way to do this? Do I need a new domain name again or can I just upload the content somehow to my wordpress.com?

  The old blog would have had both a custom domain PLUS a whatever.wordpress.com URL. What’s the old URL? It won’t have been deactivated. Just sign in as that user and away you go.

  deestraveljournal.wordpress.com would have been the old wordpress name. But I don’t know what email address I had used.
