  Hello,
  I was just googling my name and came across this ancient blog of mine. I’m guessing that I set it up using an email account from my university. However, I’ve been a graduate for a few years now, and no longer have access to that email account.

  If anything, I’d like to edit the blog as it has information and projects that are very outdated.

  Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello chrisrudzki,

  Thanks for the reply, but I’ve already tried the Account Recovery options. That’s why I posted in here. I setup that wordpress blog with an old email that has since been deactivated. Also, I haven’t bought any upgrades or anything, so I have no way of verifying that that’s my blog (but it is! Promise!).

  I’m applying for jobs lately and would prefer if this blog with outdated work didn’t come up when googling my name. Doesn’t portray the best image, get what I mean?

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry but if none of the account recovery options work, we really can’t make any changes to the account. I’d encourage you to look into possibly reactivating that email if possible. Then you could do a normal password reset.

  Dang! Can’t do, I’m not a student there anymore. It’s not up to me to reopen it. There’s really no other way of deactivating the page?
