Old Blog/New Login

  I am trying to get back into my old blog. The last time I played around on it was 2016. Trying my current email, I seem to have started a new WordPress account?? I can’t get into my old blog at all. I’d like to
  1) Log into the old blog.
  2) Archive old posts for a fresh face on the creature.
  3) Make sure I have only one WP account and it is connected to my correct email.

  Can someone help me with that?

  To restore access, follow instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
  Once you restored access, log in again as taylorjrutledge and close the account, https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/

  I have tried resetting my password, and all the account recovery options available to me. The original email I used to set up the account has been taken over by dark forces and even though I looked thoroughly, I could not find any “proof of ownership” to submit an account recovery request. Am I out of options?

  Email authentication is our primary form of account verification, but is is not the ONLY form of verification. Please fill out the form on this page (to the best of your ability) and it will send a message to our account recovery team, who will work with you to help you regain access:

  Unless I click one of the three boxes and provide one of those proofs of ownership (which I don’t have and/or can’t get at), it will not let me submit that form.

  You could just fill one of those randomly (we do not error check what you enter for transaction ID, for example) and that will allow you to proceed to submit the form.

  I really appreciate your help. It still won’t let me in. I have tried filling out each of those options randomly and it refuses to submit the form. Apparently some robot does check, because it says the ID entered is invalid. What is the format of the ID? Is there a dummy one I can use to get into this process??

  I love my blog (though long unused) and there is information I would like to get at in there.
