Old blog, reactivated – posts are there but no comments

  I recently logged into my wordpress account in order to reactivate my blog. All my posts are still there but there are no comments; they’re not in pending or anything like that.

  Is there a way for me to get the comments restored?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you say “re-activated” do you mean you installed a backup (that may not have included comments in the backup)?

  What happens when you visit https://alifeinbookshome.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php

  Sorry, I didn’t use accurate wording. I’ve just not logged into my WordPress account in years, but when I recently did, all my posts are still there, but no comments. I didn’t have a backup (to my knowledge).

  Also when I go to the comments menu (the url you posted) it shows the various categories (pending, etc.) but all say 0
