old blog to import

  Hello! I have a WordPress blog now, but in 2014 I had another blog here and want to import it. The old blog was called Dating in the Middle Ages. I can see it, but I can’t get in as the Administrator. I’d like to use it on my website and can’t seem to gain access. Can you tell me how I might do that?? Would greatly appreciate your help!   That blog is owned by a different account than the one you’re currently logged in to.

  You need to follow our Account Recovery guide to regain access to that blog.

  Thank you for your reply! When I look at that old blog, in the upper right it has the account and it’s the newer one. If I click on Write then it brings me to that newer account also.

  Should I still try and find the older account?

  To clarify, if you are logged into a WordPress.com account, you will see that when you visit other WordPress.com sites as well. However, this does not mean you are logged in to datinginthemiddleages.wordpress.com… instead it is just showing you a shortcut back to the account you are on. It does not give you access to datinginthemiddleages.wordpress.com.

  We are not able to help here in the support forums, as verifying account ownership requires us to ask you to provide info that is best not shared in this public venue.

  This will send all the info you have to our account recovery team, and from there they will contact you directly to assist you in regaining access to the account that owns datinginthemiddleages.wordpress.com.
