In march this year I deleted my old account completely, but now I discovered that all my old contributions are still her and readable.
How can I make it go away?

Hi There,
I am not too sure that if you can do a mass delete without a plugin as I am not able to find the feature maybe a Happiness Engineer will be assist on that.
But there is a plugin that allows you to do a mass delete by user. Do have a look at the plugin below

I´m not quite sure if I can use a plugin in standard configuration . Also I cannot “reach ” my old contributions,because the account is no longer existent.
Someone put a Modlook-Tag on for me, so hopefully a “Happiness Engineer” comes to the rescue!

That site is deleted and the old content you’re seeing is cached in the Reader. As someone planning to delete a few older posts I am curious to know if that is normal. I would have thought that if you delete a post/complete site it really ought to be deleted completely and immediately everywhere across WordPress.com even if it may take a little time for things to fully disappear from search engines?

I’m pretty sure this shouldn’t be happening, so I’ve reported this to our Reader team to take a look. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear something from them.
Can you please tell me how you came across that content from your deleted site in the Reader? Knowing how you found it might help us track down why it wasn’t removed when you deleted your site.

Thanks for the response! So I´m hoping the moderators see this topic and “refresh/renew” the Cache and make the old data disappear!
I really don´t want my old stuff to cruise around the net any longer!

I just have to enter the old tags used for the old contributions in the tag search field,for example “Bicycle” or “Schimpansen”(they are not often used) and after a click on the Thumbnail(Gravatar?) i can see my whole old stuff!
I would be delighted if you could delete this old stuff once and forever!

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know your deleted site should no longer show up in the Reader. You might need to clear your browser cache for it to take effect for you, though.
Our developers are also looking into preventing this from happening again for any site, so thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks for the Update!I already cleared my browser-Cache.There is change indeed, i can´t find the main site of my former blog anymore, but all the content, all my entries are still on WP, you still can read the whole text.See here:

That content no longer exists on our servers, and is no longer in the Reader either. If those links still work for you, you must still be accessing cached info somewhere.

Filling in the corresponding tags on the left side of the page,for example „schimpansen“ you will find my entry at the fourth place down from the top, and from there you will find the whole rest!
Maybe we just have to wait and see!

Okay, it looks like we’re still working on removing the posts from tag search. I’ll update you once that is also fixed.

I’ve asked the developer working on this for an update. However, it’s not as simple as just removing your posts. This is an issue with how tag search itself works, and that issue needs to be fixed.
I also notice that your account is not actually the one that owned the site, alleseinefragederperspektive.wordpress.com, before it was deleted. It’s not directly relevant here as the site is already deleted, but it would have been good of you to mention that at some point, as now it very much looks as if you’re trying to get someone else’s content removed from the Reader.

Sorry, but I don`t understand.Do you mean my current account(interimsloesung) is different from the old one. Yes, it is, because this time I have chosen a different E-mail and account name for my new blog.After a break I wanted to have a new start with slightly different content.
Also, what did I miss to mention, I opened the old blog alleseinefragederperspektive.wordpress.com in approx. March 2015 and tried to delete it in April of this year after 100+ posts?

In this case it’s not a huge issue, as the site in question is already deleted, and you surfaced a bug that affects all deleted sites, not just yours. But in future, if you need help with a site that belongs to username A, please start a thread while logged in as username A and not username B. We keep an audit log for every support request and action taken on your account and site based on the unique username, so if you contact us via the wrong username we can’t help.

Do you think, that under the given circumstances,my old posts will will be gone rather sooner than later?Will you be able to find the bug and „weed it out“once and forever?
