old deleted posts showing up through feed

  I recently changed my wordpress blog from private to public. I subscribed to my own feed just to check on things and discovered that all my old posts (back from when the blog was private) all show up on this feed. Now there is a feed for my old private blog and one for my new public one, and they have the same URL.

  How can I resolve this problem and permanently delete my old posts? When I go to manage posts , these deleted posts do not show up, but they still appear on the feed.

  Go to “Options” > “Reading” and reduce the number of posts published in the feed by inserting the appropriate value in the field: “Show the most recent:”

  I tried putting “2” in “Show the most recent” but for some reason when I go to subscribe to the blog, it still shows several different feeds, one of which is still for all the old posts. This is through Bloglines. It seems to work normal in Google feeds.

  No feeds were found. Please verify that the website publishes an RSS feed.
