  Hi there, a while ago (I’m not sure if it was more than 30 days ago) I closed my free domain which was fablesofthehands.wordpress.com, I was wondering if I could claim that name again? Thanks for your help!

  Hello,

  If you permanently deleted your previous website — fablesofthehands.wordpress.com — I’m afraid it’s not possible to reclaim the name again. However, you can create new blog/website in WordPress with different name, and there is no limitation of WordPress websites that a user can create.

  Hi there,

  fablesofthehands.wordpress.com was deleted six months ago, so it is no longer possible to restore that site.

  
  @retnonindya, you might want to read the support page you linked to. Deleted sites can be restored for 30 days after deletion, but only staff can do that. Please tag threads like these for staff in future so we can check the actual site, as these cases can be time-sensitive.
