Hi there,
You may want to try the classic block, which is a block you can add to “insert” the classic editor inside of the newer block editor, and has the familiar formatting tools you are used to: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/
We also have tips for making the move from the classic editor to blocks, which is where we will be releasing new features as they are added https://wordpress.com/support/switching-from-the-classic-to-the-block-editor/
If I can ask, is there something specific that you are used to doing in the classic editor, but are not sure how to do with the new block editor? Happy to take a closer look!

And when will new themes be available. I wanna change mine but all the good ones you have to pay for

We’ve released several new free themes over the past year, with the most recent one released just over a month ago:
The Spearhead Theme: A Minimal Design and Clean Slate for All Content Creators
If you go to My Site ->Design ->Themes, the themes you see listed first are all new free themes.
Those themes have all been designed specifically for the block editor, and we do not recommend using the classic editor with those themes. We’re no longer making themes to support the classic editor, as the classic editor is no longer part of the WordPress software. All new themes we release are designed and optimised for use with the block editor included in the open source WordPress software.

The block editor is the current editor, yes. That has been the default editor in the open source WordPress software since version 5.0 came out in December 2018, and is now also the default editor for all sites on WordPress.com.
You can find a detailed overview on how the block editor works at https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/
If you have questions about anything specific, we’re happy to help you with that here.
