Old editor no more?

  Just wondering if the old editor been retired? Can’t find any means of changing the UI.

  No it has not been retired but the link in the new editor back to the classic editor has been removed and will not be restored https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-editing-an-old-post-how-do-i-switch-to-the-classic-editor?replies=5#post-2316097

  The user interface changes you refer to including those to the new editor did not happen today. They happened a month ago and small adjustments have been made since then.   To locate the classic editor when creating posts go to > Dashboard > Posts > Add New
