  word press seems to be updated recently, can I change mine back to the old format

  Of what site are you speaking? Your site at http://bloggingbluesfan.wordpress.com/ does not have the new block editor enabled.

  If you’re referring to your self-hosted WordPress site at https://hinrggymnastix.com/, gou can disable the new block editor added in WordPress 5.0 by installing the Classic Editor plugin:
