  Hi,
  I keep receiving several emails daily about people registering as a new user and posting strange posts on a forum that I created for a company that I no longer work for. I no longer have any login details and when I try to reset my password it says that no account is linked to that email?
  Any ideas how to stop these emails, even though the site says I’m not even registered?

  Hi,

  The domain name is http://www.alfretonsnooker.co.uk/ however it is often down with database issues, I think the forum is being battered with spam rather a lot

  These forums are for support to sites hosted on WordPress.com. I can see your site is self-hosted with an external provider, using WordPress.org.

  What is the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?

  I would recommend contacting your hosting provider regarding your error message, “Error establishing a database connection.” You can also find general WordPress help for self-hosted websites in the WordPress.org forum at: https://wordpress.org/support/. If you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.
