Old images loading on front page

    Hi there,

The front page on my website is populating images from my event from last year. It’s not showing images from this year’s event. Is there a way to change the images manually on the main page or is there a way to do it automatically?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi –

Generally, you would just need to open up that specific page to the editing screen. From there you can remove the old images and insert the new ones.

Because the Freshy theme is retired, though, it’s a bit more involved. It will probably not display properly or the experience will be broken. Once a theme is retired we stop updating it and eventually as browsers and operating systems continue to evolve the theme breaks. This is especially true in mobile views I’ve found.

My suggestion is to just switch themes now and then edit that page to display the desired images.

Our themes are viewable at https://wordpress.com/themes/ and you can search by layout designs and features. Anything with the green “beginner” banner across the corner will be easier to set up and have less technical features incorporated into it. Of course we can help you out if you run in to any issues or questions.

Each theme has a live demo site and a detailed setup instruction page too.

Radcliffe 2 is a nice simple layout.
