Old, never used Blogs – Will they be deactivated?

  Hi,

  I noticed that there are many, many blogs like bla.wordpress.com that are not used since 3 or 4 years.
  they even got the “sample post” on them and nothing else.

  i was wondering if it would be possible to delete those?
  so if i would like to get one of those blogs, can i register somewhere and the old blog will be deleted so i can use it?

  would be appreciated if you could help me out here, thanks in advance.

  Won’t happen – name are not recycled – and many of the “empty” blogs are actually active accounts for an API Key –

  There is a Post over in the support Doc’s somewhere that explains why the no recycle policy (makes sense) – if you really want to use a name your only chance is to leave a comment on the site and hope the owners reply.
