Old page still showing in google
-
I changed my resume/cv page long ago, and I’ve never been able to figure out how to stop an old version of my resume from showing up on google. The main problem is that my phone number is there, and it is aggravating me because the page is no longer in my site… kimmarieclark.wordpress.com, @kimclark69, nevertheless THIS is still online and the link is not dead – so everyone who has my phone number can see this and who has my name can see my phone number – https://kimmarieclark.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/kmc-resumecv-20121.pdf
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
To keep things running quickly around here, files are held in multiple caches through a separate system. These caches are usually cleared within 3 days and the files will then become 404 page not found.
I tagged this thread with modlook for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting public blogs and/or blog content from them does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

Yo me it looks as if this PDF https://kimmarieclark.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/kmc-resumecv-20121.pdf has not been deleted. Go into your media library and make sure you delete it.

Hi Kim!
I just took a look at your site and, like timethief said, that file hadn’t been deleted so it was still showing in Google. I’ve just deleted that PDF file for you, so when someone clicks on the link, they’ll now see a “404 – Not Found” error.
While the file is no longer available publicly, you can also try asking Google to remove the link from appearing in search results now that it’s been deleted.
