Old Post Appearing in Side Bar

I have an old post that for some reason is appearing in the sidebar of my blog. I’ve checked the appearance for something weird and also the post itself and some of the other most recent posts for something funny in the script but I can’t fins anything. Your help is greatly appreciated,

    Thanks,
    Evan

Your sidebar is fine. Perhaps you should try logging out and clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

I’m seeing the post in the sidebar as well and W3C is reporting 51 errors in the XHTML on that page.

Since I’m seeing far too many to try and figure out which ones are causing the issue, follow the following procedure and it hopefully will take care of it.

    1. go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and click “save changes.

    2. Open each post that appears on your main page and make one minor change (such as adding a space and then deleting it). The click “update post.”

Hopefully the above will fix the issue, but if it does not, post back here and we will try and determine exactly which particular error is causing the issue.

And actually I just noticed that you have apparently fixed the issue since I no longer see the post in the sidebar. I would still suggest going through the above procedure so that it will fix the bulk of the validation errors.
