Hi. A post I wrote quite a long time ago keeps coming up as the main post on my site even though I’ve posted much newer blogs. How do I fix this?

Well that’s odd because it come up out of order when I go to it myself
so maybe this is just a glitch on my own set up. Any ideas? -
I just used my wife’s computer to look at my blog
and the same thing happens: a post called “Aloft” from several
months ago comes up as the home page for my site.
This is very odd that you say you get the newest post…AG

If that is the case, the Aloft post is displaying first because you’ve made this a “sticky” post. Sticky posts “stick” to the top of your blog, no matter how many newer posts you publish. If you’d like to remove the “sticky” setting from your post, so it goes back into the correct order on your site, please click below to open the post:
https://wordpress.com/post/26135773/1959/?optin
Then, scroll down the page, and in the left-hand column, you’ll see this:
https://cloudup.com/cO1IWHA87GoDe-select the sticky option, then click the blue Update button to save your changes.

Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert a site deletion for any reason and the site address cannot be reused.
If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so that only you and people that you have invited can view the site:

are the best?It all depends on your goals. If you want a fresh, new look for the site, you should check out some more themes:
