Old post coming up first on blog post page

Hello,
I just published a new blog post but an old post is displaying on the blog post page. I would like new posts to be displayed. I went into customize theme tab and looked in the menu tab and the old post is listed as “original”. How can I remove that?

Have you edited the post and checked to see if it is set as a sticky post? If so you can remove that designation.
