old post disappeared

  I’ve been posting “wordless wednesday” photos for three weeks now. I just went back to look at my first one and see it has utterly disappeared. I tried the url I sent out when I originally posted it, and got a not found error. Where has it gone? There were several comments on it as well, but now nothing. Any ideas?

  Yes, it’s definitely ‘not found’. Are you sure you didn’t delete it? Try first please by looking in the Trash. Dashboard>All Posts, and also in Drafts. If it’s not there come back and tell us.

  How bizarre! It was indeed in the trash, but I definitely didn’t put it there. Many thanks, and I’m glad it was such a simple fix, but still puzzled as to why it happened. ??

  You’re welcome. I can’t tell you how it got there though!! Unless you have other admins on your blog who could have removed it, or maybe you did it by mistake when removing something else. Glad you found it. though. Alls well that ends well.
