  Hi, is there anyway to recover or receive copies of old posts for this account?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there –

  Which site are you trying to find old posts from? Generally speaking, all the posts remain on a site unless they’ve been put in the trash and deleted.
