old posts-archive but hide from home page?

  Is there a way to archive posts but not have them on the home page? I want to provide access to my old posts, but not have such a cluttered home page. Is there a way to do this and only show my most recent posts on the home page? Thanks!

  You might try turning off “infinite scroll.”

  If you go to Settings>Reading on your dashboard about half way down the page you’ll see a check box that says “scroll infinitely” if you uncheck that box, you can then set the number of posts you want to appear on your page at a time a bit closer to the top of your page.
