Old posts at top of page?

Hey, I just made this new blog. I want to use it as a portfolio, so I wrote an introduction at first and then some posts. Is there any chance I can sow old posts at top of the page and old posts at the bottom, instead of the other way around?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Blogs are by nature meant to be read newest post first. Readers who visit your site regularly won’t want to scroll though pages of old posts to find your latest news!

You could set up your blog with pages rather than posts. That is not optimal for search engine juice because you can’t tag or categorize pages. Tags and categories are how new readers (and search engines) will find your blog.

If you don’t want to make your site based mainly on pages, take a look at this support document about how to write a book
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/

Essentially you set up a page (usually static, but it wouldn’t have to be) to act as a table of contents or index for the chapters in your book (or items in your portfolio).

@jsparre, I would suggest that you make the request for the option of chronological post order directly to staff. There are definitely certain types of blogs that really need chronological rather than the standard reverse chronological post order. I think it is something staff needs to add.
