Old problem old guy can’t figure out – Twitter Widget

  Hi,

  I’m trying to add a Twitter widget to the sidebar of my blog, but like others here, I simply get “An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.” It’s been about 17 hours.

  My RSS code(?) is: http://twitter.com/statuses/friends_timeline/19098410.rss

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You need to change your RSS code to http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/19098410.rss

  Note that the friends_timeline part has been replaced with user_timeline

  In the RSS widget, click on edit and uncheck the box “show item content.” I think that’s why it is duplicating the info.

  One more thing – you should consider changing the website link in your user name to your blog. It’s no use to have your name link to a site that is not hosted here.
