Old profile picture still displays

  Hi,

  When I share my posts on twitter or facebook it shows an old profile picture. That picture no longer exists in my gravatar profile – but the newer pictures don’t show when I share my posts.

  However, the newer pictures do show when I log on to wordpress (that is, on my blog).

  How do I change that old picture, and ensure that the newer gravatar pictures show when I share a post on facebook or twitter? Thanks.

  Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
