Hello,
I need help signing into my old WordPress account.
I made it years ago, and now I can’t remember my password. The email that connected to my old account was, unfortunately, deactivated/deleted by Yahoo! because it hasn’t been active for years.
I want to delete my old site since I don’t use it anymore. I also don’t want any other people to see my old site.
Can you help me with this? Or maybe you just help change my site’s settings to a private site instead?

I made this (free) site 9 years ago, and I’m not sure if I have any proof of ownership that needed.
I wrote my real name there, and it’s quite bothering me because every time someone’s trying to search up my name, my old site came out. I’ve seen somewhere that WordPress.com doesn’t consider names as personal information. But in this case, can I still have the authority to change this site to a private site?

I don’t have any transaction ID or activation URL. Is there something else I can use as proof?

We can only accept the forms of verification indicated on the account recovery page.
But you can email the address @supernovia provided above, and they’ll see if there’s anything else they can do in this case.
