Old site from high school, want to redesign for college portolio
-
I created this blog as a part of a high school assignment. I want to use the same URL because I still like my LifeofLucidity brand and want to redesign it as a personal portoflio that I can use throughout college and afterwards. I made a lot of changes and wish to start fresh.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

lifeoflucidity,
It does show that it has been deleted.
“lifeoflucidity.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”
I’ll tag this post with modlook so that a staff member can check into it for you and see if there is a way to restore your URL or not.
Thanks,

As you deleted the URL it will be 2 years before you can register it again.
The relevant support doc is found at http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/.
Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site https://deletedexample1234.wordpress.com/ with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. http://wordpress.com/start If it is available, it will be yours.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here.
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
