Old Site, New Staff
-
Hello,
Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this. I am a new board member for a writing group and we were discussing blogs, websites and social media. Apparently it seems there is a blog someone started for the group back in 2009. Unfortunately, that person is no longer with the group and we have no idea where to find them. The site itself exists, but neither I, nor my other board members, can find out how to access the site and update the information on there. The blog in questions is http://www.evarwa.blogspot.com which is a valid (albeit out of date) site. I reset that password using the email address for the group which worked fine. However, when I login using the “/wp-admin” it says I have not created any sites.
Does anyone know how I can gain access to the site in order to update it?

If you want to delete this blog https://evarwa.wordpress.com/ which is hosted by WordPress.COM then read on please.
Note that companies, non-profits, and groups of any kind do not own blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account, to manage the blog, to delete the blog, or to use the lost password link or account recovery form.
