I paid for the upgrade to map my domain, but now when I try to work on my new wordpress page,nothing posts and my old webpage comes up.

I don’t really know how to explain this, and can’t find a person to talk to. Only this forum. I have a website made by someone else. I want to make my own website using wordpress. I own the domain I want to use so thought I need to buy the upgrade to transfer it here. Now when I try to work on the new blog/page, nothing will post and my old page appears when i view it. Maybe I need to not have my old domain ‘mapped’ ???

What I experience is that clicking http://susanlambertdesigns.wordpress.com/ redirects me to http://susanlambertdesigns.com/ and the latter is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We provide support at WordPress.com only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. All sites hosted by any other web host are supported here http://wordpress.org

You have purchased domain mapping – it has been less than 72 hours for changes to migrate to the far corners of the internet

BUT – your name servers don’t seem to be pointing to WordPress.COM – the name servers need to point here for your domain name to work with your WordPress.COM blog

Yes, you’ll need to make changes to the nameservers through your domain registrar.

Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ they should be:
```
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
```
