Old stats page default?

  I much prefer the old stats format as you don’t have to scroll all the way down the page. Can I make this the default rather than having to load the new stats page first, then go to the old one?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Leslie,

  Thanks for the feedback about the new stats page! Other folks have also mentioned that they don’t like having to scroll down the page so much — our developers are aware of that feedback and are taking it into consideration as they continue working on those new stats features.

  There isn’t a way to make the old stats page the default when you view your stats, but you can bookmark a link to that stats page in your browser. That way, you can use the bookmark to go directly to the stats page you prefer.

  I’m with Leslie, new stats page is not an improvement. But then, having to bookmark our own blog isn’t really helpful either.

  Also, I’m wondering why all of these unwanted upgrades are so simplistic,less functional, and worse than what they are supposed to be replacing. The new header bar won’t let me return to my homepage now that it’s been updated.

  Much like that horrible boop boop fiasco.

  Hi lunarmom,

  If you’re in the classic dashboard, you can return to your site’s homepage by hovering over “My Sites” and clicking on “View Site” in the dropdown that appears there. If you’re already on your site, but not on the homepage, you can click on your site’s header image or site title to return to the homepage. Does that help or do you still run into trouble getting back to your site’s homepage?

  There are two old Stats pages and they are both available from the classic dashboard. You can go directly to the classic dashboard by logging in here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?.

  The old Stats pages are

  1. https://YourWeirdWebsiteName.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats (really old, “classic”). Link is found in the dashboard admin panel in the “Dashboard” drop-down menu (clock symbol).

  2. https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ (kinda old, “super classic”). The link is found in the dashboard navigation menu, in the website title drop-down menu.

  Or just add a bookmark to a bookmarks toolbar.
