Old stats page headers oversized and pushing data out of view
-
I have continued to use the old stats page (not trying to dredge up that old war) and everything worked great until yesterday. I logged in and all the category headings like “views by country” and “top posts and pages” were all oversized and disproportionate. Now the data is being pushed out of their respective category boxes and is hard to impossible to read.
Any insight on how to restore it to its original formatting would be helpful. Thanks!

Interesting. I wonder how many other folks are having the same problem. Here is what mine looks like:

Hi Timethief. Thanks.

Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080
Browser Size 1545 x 899 -
Hi folks, are you all in Windows, or are you still having the same issue? I haven’t been able to duplicate this on mac.
Would one of you be willing to check the new stats page to see whether that page also has the same problem in your browser?
-
I am using windows 7 and am still having the same issue.
I just checked the new stats page and the “enhanced stats” page and everything looks normal

@supernovia
I’m on a PC running Windows 10 and using FF43.
I cannot replicate this issue here https://wordpress.com/stats/insights/onecoolsite.wordpress.com -
Oops! I mean I cannot replicate this issue here https://wordpress.com/stats/day/onecoolsite.wordpress.com

Thanks @timetheif
@bubbasuess, please try opening Firefox in Safemode to see whether you also have the problem there. That should eliminate plugins and extensions you’re using which maybe causing this issue, considering Timethief does not see the issue in her Firefox.

I tried safe mode on both pale moon and firefox and neither effected the problem. The formatting (or whatever) is still out of whack. However, I did try it in chrome as well and things were different. The headings were all larger fonts than they used to be (at least, larger than I think I remember them being, but the same size as they appear in firefox and pale moon) but everything else was formatted right and fit properly.
-
Okay, if you can help us figure out how best to duplicate this problem, that will be helpful.
Are your fonts in the browser set to the default size? I think you would use ctrl+0 on Windows in Firefox to reset.

I also tried Chrome and I.E and the page looks exactly the same as in firefox, oversized fonts etc..
-
So this happens across various browsers on one system for @pellymade; can you try that too, @bubbasuess and @eyesometric ?
If possible, could you each check the same page on another system, too? For what it’s worth, I was not able to duplicate this here, even while logged in as one of you.
Are any of you running Adblock or Alexa or anything else along those lines? Occasionally we’ll see these conflicts with programs that modify browser content — I’m wondering if you’re all running the same thing.
-
I have tried it on Firefox, Pale Moon and Chrome. The problem was present on Firefox and Pale Moon but everything was fine on Chrome.
I am not running either of the things you mentioned or stuff like it. I did not change anything on my end. The problem just started one morning a few days ago. Maybe I go some bad malware or something that is gumming things up.
