"Old" Stats, Table Page?
-
Hi guys, I check my old stats regularly still and one of the pages I really like (because it allows me to compare months like with like, trends of each year and by week). This morning I’ve clicked on the link from the WP Admin page only to see that it takes me back to the “new” (less useful, fewer detailed) stats page.
Is this another page that WP has taken away?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I too am missing this page and I also like to compare the trends by following the month by month figures over a number of years and by week. I would ask that this page is reinstated to wordpress or tell me where I can find it if it is still there. The insights page doesn’t give me any of the information that I am interested in.

Hi Irene, I found it and bookmarked it, but I had to go through my Google history to get it.
It’s here: https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?view=table
The fact that WP have removed the link to it suggest they will remove the feature in the near future. I guess it’s only a matter of time before they take away the WP Admin page too. I still find it easier and better to work with than the new “improved” posting page.

Thank you for that link mgm75.
I too really miss easy access to the old stats pageant sincerely hope that WP do not remove this feature or the admin page. -
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
On the dashboard of your own blog at

Thanks timethief, but I know about the dashboard. I still use it and will continue to do so until they pry it from my cold dead fingers.
As for your link to the old stats page, that isn’t it. That’s the new one. I provided the link to the old one in my second message. As I said in my original post, the link to the old stats page that used to be from the WP Admin main page has now gone and links straight back the new one.

That made me LOL :D.
Try this link too for old stats http://sweattearsanddigitalink.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats

How right you are! WP users created within the last month or so no longer have access to WP-admin from their drop-down menu. Indeed I don’t think they have any links to anything “old”

Well that’s a bit rubbish. The new posting system doesn’t have the functionality of the old one. As a paying customer, I will have to reconsider my relationship with WordPress if they make any more unnecessary “improvements” without consultation.
I’m very disappointed that no WP employee or admin has answered this thread though, disappointed but not surprised. They seem hell bent on ploughing ahead with all changes even against overwhelming protest.
I’d rather pay for a service from a company that listens to its users.

Well, I guess new users are totally unaware of what they are missing…
FYI if I go to WP-admin and click on Site Stats I still get the “old” page.
-
Nice to know it works for you knashermac2009, it still only takes me back to the new stats page, missing out all that information I use every day.
Five days and no response from moderators or WP staff? I’m disappointed but not surprised. It’s not the first time they’ve imposed changes without consultation. I hate the new clunky, chunky format that seems only to care about mobile users. The day we lose the core functions that have always been in place is the day I stop giving money to WordPress and look elsewhere for alternative CMS options.

When I go to WP-admin and then to Site Stats I get the following link

What do you get?
